Top 10 Questions We Want Lost to Answer
As the final season of the hit series debuts tonight, we are hoping for some answers.

We’ve been watching Lost religiously since the very first episode (still one of the greatest pilots ever shown on TV), so we’re as anxious to get to the bottom of whatever is going on in this fantastic show as any dedicated fan. The final season of the ABC series returns tonight at 8 p.m. and we have our DVR ready and waiting. After watching this twisting and turning addictive hit for five years, we know there’s a lot of mysteries yet to be solved. Here are the top 10 questions we most desperately need answered before they call it quits in May.
10. Is John Locke really dead?
So, let’s get this straight: we follow poor John Locke (Terry O’Quinn) through all his trials and travails, and then he’s just … dead? Replaced by the spirit of … something or someone who may or may not have been around for several hundred years? Yeah, we want Locke back.
9. Who is Jacob?
And why is he important? And what’s his connection to the spirit who took over Locke’s body? And to the Island?
8. What the heck is that smoke monster?
Is it animal? Vegetable? Mineral? Either way, it seems awfully blood thirsty, doesn’t it?

7. What happened to Claire (Emilie de Raven)?
She seemed to die and become a part of that spirit world that also featured Christian, Jack’s (Matthew Fox) dad, but then again, she’s also supposedly alive, and why would she have abandoned her baby, Aaron?
